Exterior Laminated Safety Glass

Our proprietary exterior glass railing system is developed for a +/-70 PSF rating with Miami Dade NOA and can withstand wind loads up to 170 MPH.   It is comprised of 2 10mm SGCC panes of glass with an SGP interlayer.  SGP (SentryGlas® Plus) is 5 times stronger in tear strength than PVB and 100 times the rigidity.  If SGP glass breaks it remains as strong and rigid as an unbroken pane.

Our exterior glass system is certified to 48" in height and up to 60" width per pane.  It is anchored in an aluminum u-channel that can be customized to each individual project.  Utilizing the 48" height on new builds allows embedment of the U channel in the concrete floor with just the glass visible for the ultra sleek design while conforming to the 42" standard exterior height .  Our 48" height capability also conforms to all applicable requirements for pool safety barriers.
